What you will learn
The course includes a series of one-day taught workshops focusing on different aspects of logistics and supply chain management, and a relevant work-based project. Workshop sessions will cover:

Teaching & Assessment
How you will learn
The Skills Bootcamp in Supply Chain & Procurement is delivered online, allowing participants from all over Cumbria to join without having to travel.
The full day workshop sessions include a mixture of tutor input, use of learning materials (videos, podcasts etc.), group and individual exercises, and formative assessment activities.
You will be supported to complete your work-based project with suggested templates and exercises to guide you.
How you will be assessed
Learners will complete two assessments at the end of the programme
- You will complete a work-based project as well as submitting a report
- You will present your report and complete a multiple-choice test
Fees & Funding
Tuition Fees
2025 - 2026
Tuition fees are set annually and are subject to review each year. The University may therefore raise tuition fees in the second or subsequent years of a course, in line with inflation and/or the maximum permitted by law or Government policy. Students will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
Funding
The full price of the programme is £2,850. The programme is funded by the Department for Education (DfE) Skills for Life scheme, with employers contributing towards the fees. For SMEs, this is £285; for employers with over 250 staff, this is £855. Contributions are payable on enrolment, via our online store. A payment link will be provided on enrolment.
Application
- Please contact for information on course dates, fees, and applying. You will then need to complete an application form, providing details of your employer who has agreed to fund the contribution. We will assess your application for eligibility and if you meet the requirements and there is space on the course, we will offer you a place.
- We will contact your employer to obtain confirmation of their support. If they do not confirm their support, our offer to you may be withdrawn
- If you do not meet the requirements, or there is not space in the course, we will contact you to advise on possible actions.
- At our discretion, applications received after an advertised closing date and before the start of the course may be accepted. Applications will not be accepted once the course is in progress.
- In the event that a participant is unable to accept an offer, no substitutions can be accepted for that participant. Another employee may submit a new application in their own right.
- In the event that a participant has enrolled and started the course, no substitutions can be accepted for that participant. No refund can be given for the employer contribution.
