How You Will Learn
The MBA in Tourism Management provides flexible learning options that include online study materials and face-to-face teaching offered in a 3-day block at our stunning Ambleside campus.
How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed on your achievement of the program learning outcomes, which, in turn, are achieved by meeting the learning outcomes of the modules.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum entry requirement: 2:2 honors degree, or an equivalent international qualification
- Applicants will ideally have at least 2 years' work experience
- Applications without standard qualifications must demonstrate:
- The capacity for theoretical debate
- A high level of motivation
- The capacity for independent study
- The ability to achieve the proposed program of work
- Students for whom English is not their first language must have achieved IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum 6 in each component)

Scholarships & Bursaries
The University of Cumbria is offering £11,000 towards tuition fees as part of the GREAT Scholarships, funded in partnership with the UK government's GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council.
Additional Costs
- Books and journals: £50 - £100 per year
