Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the MSc Data Science, students are generally required to possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or engineering. Proficiency in English is a must since the data science program is conducted in English.


General Admission Requirements

  • Completed undergraduate degree from a public or officially recognized university/higher education institution.
  • Students must have achieved a final grade of at least "satisfactory" or Grade C equivalent in their previous undergraduate degree.
  • Proof of at least one year's professional work experience completed prior to the start of the study program.

Additional Specialist Knowledge

To study the 120 ECTS credits program, students will need to have taken courses "Statistics - Probability and Descriptive Statistics" and "Introduction to Computer Science" or demonstrate equivalent knowledge.


English Language Skills

IU accepts the following English language skills certificates:
