LEADERSHIP

Bachelor of Arts | Bachelor of Science

The Leadership degree enables students to understand and provide transformational leadership in the culture and the church. This degree program grows from a core leadership curriculum and then allows students to choose from a variety of five specializations and concentrations: Ministry Leadership, Global Leadership, Youth Ministry, Business Leadership, and an Interdisciplinary option.


Per Oregon regulations, students in Portland, OR and Oregon Residents Online receive a B.S. degree.

About the Program

Jessup's Leadership program is a carefully sequenced degree designed to prepare students for transformational leadership in a range of life settings, including the local church and marketplace. This degree program provides a core curriculum in transformational leadership and allows students to choose from a variety of ministry (and other) specializations/concentrations.


Learning Outcomes

  • Articulate core leadership principles for organizations consistent with biblical teaching.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in personal leadership skills.
  • Identify personal areas of spiritual, relational, and emotional growth in self-leadership.
  • Apply transformational leadership within a range of cultural contexts.
  • Frame transformational leadership within a Gospel worldview and ethic.
  • Integrate their leadership studies into their chosen specialization/concentration.
