Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) from an accredited university in computer science or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or permission from the UF program director.
- Coursework in the following subjects. Final evaluation of transcripts is at the discretion of the UF program director and faculty. Note that bridge courses or undergraduate offerings will be available to those who do not have this background.
- Programming, including instruction in data structures
- College algebra (minimum)
- Database management and SQL experience
- Data communications and computer networks
- Operating systems
- Software engineering
- Work/internship experience in the computer science field is preferred.
English Language Requirements
- If your native language is not English and you have not graduated from an English speaking university in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or Canada, you must also submit an English language test score. You will be either directly admitted or conditionally admitted based on your English language test score.
