Who Needs an M-Course?

International applicants who need to attend a Studienkolleg in Germany and wish to study in the fields of pharmacy, medicine, biology, or psychology. The M-Courses offer the necessary preparation tailored to these subjects, including German, physics, biology, and chemistry.

After successfully completing the M-Course at the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg and passing the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP), you have many options in the medical, biological, or psychological fields. The M-Focus course provides optimal preparation for the following study programs:

Our M-Course consists of a team of qualified lecturers and teachers who are experts in their fields (physics, biology, chemistry, and German) and experienced in preparing students for the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP).

In addition to regular classes, we offer frequent FSP tutorials, providing students with additional guidance and tips for their assessment test.

At our Studienkolleg, various guest lectures from professors and professionals from the workforce are held to give students further insights into the study and work environment in Germany.

To maintain a high quality of teaching, you will receive continuous feedback on your learning progress through regular assessments and tests. Excursions and experimental classes provide a necessary change of pace in the learning routine.

Are there Additional Support Courses for the Medicine Course?

We offer supplementary preparatory courses in mathematics and physics for the M-Course and, if necessary, a crash course to prepare for the FSP. Here, you receive individual assistance to optimally prepare for the M-Course and the subsequent assessment test. Your success is important to us!

Questions about the M-Course

Why is there no mathematics in the M-Course at the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg?

The subjects of the M-Course vary depending on the federal state. In North Rhine-Westphalia, mathematics is not part of the M-Focus in the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP), so you do not need to prepare for mathematics in the assessment test and generally have a better chance of achieving good grades in the FSP of the M-Course. After attending the M-Course at the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg, you can take the FSP with the Cologne District Government. The FSP subjects are determined by the Cologne District Government. This assessment test is state-recognized and thus valid nationwide, allowing you to apply to all German universities.

Is there an entrance exam for the M-Course?

No, there is no entrance exam at the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg. Instead, we review your school certificates, grades, and German language skills to determine your qualification for the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg. The required German proficiency level for participation in the M-Course is B1.

Do I need an official B1 language certificate?

No. A participation confirmation from a language school is sufficient for the application at the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg.

For participation, at least the B1 language level is required. After registration, you have the opportunity to submit a participation certificate or a language certificate at this level.

The German proficiency proof can be issued by a language school or be an official language certificate such as telc, Goethe, TestDaf, DSH, or DSD.

Can I attend the M-Course online?

Yes, in the first semester, we offer you the option to choose whether to attend the M-Course online or on-site, allowing you to learn flexibly regardless of your location.

In the second semester, you must attend the M-Course on-site at the Düsseldorf Studienkolleg because we conduct many exam simulations and training sessions on-site.

What are the requirements to participate in the M-Course?

1. Send documents via email: Send your registration documents or application materials via email to [insert email]. The list of required documents can be found at the bottom section of our website, under “Application”.
2. Document review: The Studienkolleg team carefully reviews your submitted documents and informs you of the result promptly.
3. Payment of tuition fees: After reviewing your documents, the Studienkolleg will send you an invoice for the tuition fees. Transfer the tuition fees to the Studienkolleg to confirm your registration and receive your admission to the M-Course.
4. Receive admission letter from Düsseldorf Studienkolleg: You will receive an official confirmation via email once the tuition fees have been paid and you have been admitted to the M-Course.

T-Course

In the T-Course, specialized teachers in math, physics, chemistry, and German guide our students to pass assessment tests and qualify for technical university degree programs.

W-Course

The W-Course prepares students in German, maths, economics, and English for studies in economics and social sciences, facilitating entry into related academic programs.

M+T-Course

The combined M+T-Course provides optimal preparation for medical, natural science, or technical studies, featuring experienced lecturers, tutorials, and guest lectures to enhance learning and readiness for academic pursuits.

German B1/B2 Preparation Course

For foreign university applicants without B2-level language skills, we offer the German B1/B2 Preparation Course to meet the requirements of Studienkolleg Courses.
