Will I receive a language certificate for B1/B2?

Studienkolleg Düsseldorf is also a licensed telc examination center. You have the opportunity to participate directly in a telc preparation course or a telc exam immediately after the B1/B2 preparatory course. Studienkolleg Düsseldorf offers various telc exams , fromtelc B1 totelc C1 Hochschule, on-site.

The German B1/B2 Preparation Course

Our preparatory courses bring you up to B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) before your T-Course, M-Course, W-Course, or G-Course begins at Studienkolleg Düsseldorf. Here, you will be intensively trained in the four language skills of listening and reading comprehension, writing, and speaking, ensuring you are well-prepared for Studienkolleg and university studies in Germany.

Who Needs a German Preparation Course?

Participation in a T-Course, M-Course, W-Course, or G-Course at Studienkolleg Düsseldorf requires German language proficiency at level B1. If you don’t yet have sufficient German skills, don’t worry. Studienkolleg Düsseldorf offers you the German Preparation Course before the semester begins, enabling you to understand your Studienkolleg course smoothly after the semester starts.

However, if you have already achieved B1 level proficiency, you can still attend our German B1/B2 Preparation Course so that you complete B2 level before the semester begins. This way, you can start directly with C1-level German after the semester begins and have more time to focus on other subjects. This is the most efficient way to prepare for success in your FSP!
