General German Course

Overview

The General German programme at EP Berlin is designed to help you develop your German language and communication skills, giving you the confidence and ability to function in everyday situations. You will practise your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a communicative approach with the help of our experienced and qualified teachers.

Course Details

• Start dates: Every Monday (except Bank Holidays)
• Lessons per week: 20 lessons per week
• English Proficiency level: Beginner to Advanced A1–C1
• Lesson length: 45 minutes
• Class time: 09:00 - 12:15
• Course duration: 1-44 weeks
• Minimum age: 16 years old
• Max students per class: 15 students

Course Objectives

After completing the General German course, you should be able to:

• Speak German more confidently and fluently
• Improve your listening, reading and writing skills
• Develop your German vocabulary knowledge
• Understand complex German grammatical structures
• Gain a greater knowledge of useful functional language needed in everyday real-life situations

Teaching Methodology

In our General German course, we use a communicative approach, building confidence while giving plenty of opportunities to use the new language skills you acquire. You will receive homework to do before your next session and lessons will be tailored to your needs and learning preferences.

Semi-intensive German

Overview

Our Semi-intensive German course is designed to help you improve your German language skills through a more intensive learning experience.

Course Details

• Start dates: Every Monday (except Bank Holidays)
• Lessons per week: 25 lessons per week
• English Proficiency level: Beginner to Advanced A1 – C1
• Lesson length: 45 minutes
• Class time: 09:00 - 13:30
• Course duration: 1-44 weeks

Course Objectives

After completing the Semi-intensive German course, you should be able to:

• Speak German more confidently and fluently
• Improve your listening, reading and writing skills
• Develop your German vocabulary knowledge
• Understand complex German grammatical structures
• Gain a greater knowledge of useful functional language needed in everyday real-life situations

Classic German

Our Classic German course is designed to help you improve your German language skills through a more relaxed learning experience.

• Lesson length: 45 minutes
• Class time: 09:00 - 12:15

Our General German One-to-One course is designed to help you improve your German language skills through private lessons with our experienced and qualified teacher.

• Class time: Any day, any time
• Course duration: Tailored

Course Objectives

After completing the One-to-One German course, you should be able to:

• Improve your basic German language skills - listening, reading and writing
• Speak more confidently and fluently with improved pronunciation
• Access a wider range of vocabulary by learning new words and their appropriate usage
• Gain a better understanding of German

Premium 30 German

Our Premium 30 German course is designed to help you improve your German language skills through a more intensive learning experience.

Course Details

• Start dates: Every Monday (except Bank Holidays)
• Lessons per week: 30 lessons per week
• English Proficiency level: Beginner to Advanced A1 – C1
• Lesson length: 45 minutes
• Class time: 09:00 - 14:45
• Course duration: 1-44 weeks

After completing the Premium 30 German course, you should be able to:

• Speak German more confidently and fluently
• Improve your listening, reading and writing skills
