Objectives of the Three-Year Program

The three-year bachelor’s degree in Video and Communication at Accademia del Lusso aims to provide in-depth knowledge and skills to take on the role of a Video Maker, a key figure in video production for the fashion industry.

Through a combination of theoretical and practical lessons, the course ensures a comprehensive understanding of methods and techniques related to moving images, integrating new media communication technologies with a solid overview of the historical forms of photography and video in the fashion context.

The course also allows students to acquire methodological and critical tools to understand and develop visual expressive languages, enabling them to communicate effectively through video. Another key objective of the Video and Communication course is to develop advanced skills in video production techniques specific to the fashion sector, including light composition, editing, post-production, and equipment use.

The role of the Video Maker or Video Designer for fashion is fundamental in today's industry, as visual communication through video is becoming increasingly predominant in fashion.

This professional is responsible for creating innovative and engaging video content that promotes and enhances brands, collections, events, and the fashion world in general.

Admission Requirements

• Certified high school diploma
• Adequate knowledge of the course language, to be demonstrated through a formal certificate or a Skype interview (for non-native speakers)

Degree Awarded

• First-Level Academic Diploma equivalent to a Three-Year First-Level Degree

Didactics

The three-year bachelor’s degree in Video and Communication includes theoretical classroom lessons, workshops, and hands-on project experiences, both on-site and off-campus.

Student preparation is assessed through periodic evaluation tests. At the end of the course, each student must pass a final examination with a thesis presentation to the Examination Commission of Accademia del Lusso.
