Career in Blockchain Technology (M.Eng.)
Become an engineer and more
The fact that the profession of blockchain technology engineer opens up excellent career opportunities is partly due to the growing importance of information technology and the corresponding increase in demand for young talent. Companies and organisations are increasingly looking for specialists in this field to optimise their processes - in recent years, the number of graduates has always been lower than the annual demand for blockchain technology engineers.
Your career opportunities include:
- Blockchain expert in logistics, energy, healthcare or the financial industry.
Your modules
In the first two semesters of your Master's degree programme in Information Technology - Blockchain Technology, you will acquire knowledge in the areas of information and coding theory, transmission technology and communication networks. You will learn how data is transferred efficiently and how networks are structured. You will also expand your knowledge of blockchain technologies, blockchain security and cryptography.
In the final stage of your studies, the focus will be on smart contract programming and you will discover a wide range of possible applications for blockchain in various industries. As part of your internship, you can gain practical experience and apply your theoretical knowledge before writing your Master's thesis.
