Overview

The program aims to integrate artificial intelligence tools, such as ChatGPT and language models (LLMs), with other predictive techniques to optimize processes, foster innovation, and improve efficiency in laboratories and companies in the paint, ink, and coatings industry.

• Use ChatGPT and other LLMs to automate laboratory tasks and generate technical documentation.
• Implement predictive techniques to determine some properties of paints and optimize formulations.
• Foster innovation through LLMs, generating ideas for customized and sustainable products.
• Use multimodal natural language, text/text, text/image, text/audio, text/video, and text/3D.

Introduction to ChatGPT and LLMs

• What are LLMs and how can they be applied to the paint and ink industry?
• Practical use of ChatGPT for automating tasks, such as:
  • Case study: Automated writing of a technical report based on data
  • Text/text, text/image, text/audio, text/video, and text/3D

ChatGPT for Innovation and Problem-Solving

• Using ChatGPT to ideate new formulations
• Solving complex technical problems, such as adhesion, durability, and resistance
• Case study: Simulating a conversation with ChatGPT to adjust a UV-resistant formulation

Machine Learning and Big Data in Paints

• Fundamentals of machine learning and its application in the chemical industry
• Example of predictive models

Final Integrative Project

• Participants design a solution that combines ChatGPT, Big Data, and predictions to solve a real problem in the sector
• Example: Creating an automated workflow to analyze experimental data, predict properties, and generate a technical report with recommendations
