BA (Hons) Accounting with International Foundation

Combining your preparation studies with your undergraduate degree in a single four-year study plan. An iCAS (integrated Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)) means that you'll study on one visa for the entire programme – you don’t have to pay for flights home to renew your visa after Year 1 and can stay in the UK to work over the summer.

A range of alternative English language qualifications to IELTS are accepted for entry. If you do not meet the minimum English language requirements, you should apply for an International Foundation in Business, Finance, Economics and Marketing, Media, Humanities and Social Sciences or Science, Sport, Computing and Engineering, which also offer progression to undergraduate degrees.

Key Information

• Create opportunities for international students to progress to Year 2 of study at the University of Stirling or other universities.
• Provide a qualification that is of a quality to secure progression elsewhere for those students who either do not meet the entry criteria for Stirling or wish to follow their degree studies at another university.
• Provide opportunities for students to develop the intellectual, practical and linguistic skills and confidence necessary to demonstrate the successful achievement of the stated learning outcomes of the modules taken within the program.
• Underpin academic work with the development of English and study skills.
• An accounting degree empowers you to prepare, present and interpret financial information for a wide range of organizations, and the skills you learn will enable investors, lenders, management and others to make key decisions based on financial facts.
• BA (Hons) Accounting with International Foundation is comprised of 140 credits with core and optional modules which will allow students to progress to Year 2 of their studies at the University of Stirling.

• Academic Requirements: Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.
• English Language Requirements: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in each subskill) or equivalent.
