Overview
This double degree allows students to apply core business skills to their creative ventures, or creativity and critical thinking in business contexts. Students will learn technical skills in both disciplines, as well as transferable skills such as communication and problem-solving.

- Duration: Four years full-time or equivalent part-time study. Some units may be available via external study. All majors in this course are available to international students studying in Australia.

ATAR Pathway
- Guaranteed ATAR: 70
- Essential WACE subjects (prerequisites): There are no essential WACE subjects for this course.
- Desirable WACE subjects: At least Mathematics Applications ATAR. There may be a portfolio requirement for majors offered through the Faculty of Humanities School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry.
Alternative Pathways

- Certificate IV + English Competency: The certificate IV is the minimum requirement for university entry. It qualifies you for entry to Curtin courses with a 70 ATAR. You must also meet English language proficiency and check that you meet any extra subject prerequisites (where applicable).
- Indigenous applicant: If you’re an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicant who hasn’t met Curtin’s minimum admissions criteria, the Centre for Aboriginal Studies offers bridging courses that are tailored to help you gain entry into this course.
- STAT entry: The Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) is a national test for those who don't meet university admission criteria. STAT can be used to meet entry criteria for some courses, or as a way to satisfy Curtin’s English proficiency requirements.

What is a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP)?
A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government. They pay part of the course fees directly to Curtin, and then the student pays the remainder (referred to as the “student contribution amount”). The student can defer this fee to their HECS-HELP loan.
All Australian students studying an undergraduate degree are automatically awarded a Commonwealth supported place. A limited number of Commonwealth supported places are also available for some postgraduate courses.
