Master of Project Management
Overview
The Master of Project Management is a two-year coursework program that introduces students to the foundations of project management before moving on to more challenging projects. The program covers various aspects of project management, including cost, time, quality, risk, communication, human resources, and procurement management. It also trains students in leadership, team management, and motivation.

What Jobs Can the Project Management Course Lead To?
As methodologies such as Agile and Scrum are incorporated into general management, dictating the way work is managed, project management skills are increasingly sought across all industries. The accelerating adoption of automation technologies is also creating a demand for project managers to manage the outputs of these systems.

- Describe and apply the principles, concepts, tools, techniques, and processes of project management, and extend the boundaries of knowledge through research

- Source, critically evaluate, and synthesize information to support comprehension and decision making in a project environment

Professional Recognition and Accreditation
This course is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC), and is endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM).
Admission Criteria
Generic Course Entry Requirements
Applicants for a Master Degree (Coursework) are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; details are provided at [insert link]. Subject to the duration of the course, applicants usually require a Bachelor Degree or equivalent (and may require relevant work experience), Bachelor Honours Degree, Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma. Any specific course entry and completion requirements must also be met.

Applicants require a bachelor degree; or a Graduate Certificate in Project Management or a Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
English Requirements
Curtin requires all applicants to demonstrate proficiency in English. Specific English requirements for this course are outlined in the IELTS table below.
