Politics Specialisation

Overview

Politics is the art or science of government. It seeks to understand the actions, actors, and institutions that achieve power and evaluates its rightful use. The specialisation covers the fields of comparative politics, policy-making, applied ethics, and political history. Topics include: Australia’s global politics, regional politics, global governance, political theory, the impacts of emerging technologies, and global political challenges.

Course Essentials

• Qualification: Politics Specialisation
• Credit: A full-time study load usually consists of 200 credits (approximately eight units) per year, with 100 credits (approximately four units) in each semester.
