Overview

The Pre-Masters of Sexology Specialisation is designed for students in their third year of the Bachelor of Science (Health Science) (B-HLTHSC) who wish to undertake an Accelerated Bachelor Masters (ABM) program in the Master of Sexology (Professional) (MC-SXLPR). This specialisation is suitable for applicants who wish to develop fundamental skills towards a sexology qualification. It prepares students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications.

• Apply sexological knowledge, principles and concepts to research and practice, GC1

• Effectively communicate an understanding of sexological issues and topics, GC3
• Think globally and consider sexological issues from a variety of perspectives, GC4
• Apply relevant professional skills related to sexological research and evaluation, GC6

• A full-time study load usually consists of 200 credits (approximately eight units) per year, with 100 credits (approximately four units) in each semester.
