Overview

This double degree is ideal for resources-industry professionals who wish to consolidate their business and management skills. It combines a Master of Science with Curtin's internationally accredited and highly regarded MBA.


Streams are available for students with a technical background and those with a non-technical background.


Course Essentials

  • Qualification: Master of Science (Minerals and Energy Economics), Master of Business Administration
  • Duration: 2.5 years full-time or the equivalent in part-time study
  • Credit: A full-time study load usually consists of 200 credits (approximately eight units) per year, with 100 credits (approximately four units) in each semester.

Admission Criteria

Applicants require a bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution and at least three years subsequent, relevant work experience. Graduates from either the Curtin Graduate Certificate in Business or the Curtin Graduate Certificate in Mineral and Energy Economics will be considered qualified for entry. Entry to the course is competitive and applicants will be required to undertake an interview as the final stage of application assessment.
