Graduate Diploma in Environmental Health
Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Environmental Health is designed to equip students with the professional skills to identify, assess, evaluate, and control environmental hazards that could impact human health. The course covers the core aspects of environmental health, including environmental health management, law, food safety, and risk assessment.
Admission Criteria
- A bachelor degree in a related discipline, including public health, human biology, food technology, environmental science, biology, chemistry, and allied health.
- The Environmental Health Australia Accreditation Framework stipulates that applicants are required to have at least one full-time semester in core science subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy and physiology, life science, and microbiology.
- Graduates without these core units, or graduates with a degree from other disciplines, may be admitted following successful completion of prescribed units.
