Overview

The Doctor of Philosophy - Occupational Therapy is a research-based degree that allows students to explore new knowledge and contribute to the field of occupational therapy. The program is designed to develop students' research skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Admission Criteria

• Applicants must demonstrate a capacity to carry out independent research and have adequate training and ability to pursue the proposed research course.
• Generally, this may be a master's degree or bachelor's degree with first or upper second-class honors.

Course Structure

• The program is designed to develop students' research skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Students will work under the guidance of a supervisor and associate supervisor(s) to complete a thesis.
• The thesis must be a substantial original contribution to the knowledge or understanding of any field through the discovery of new facts, the formulation of theories, or the innovative reinterpretation of known data and established ideas.
