Registered Nurse Conversion Australian Registration Nurse Stream (BSc Nursing)
Overview
This stream prepares registered nurses without current registration in Australia for registration. Internationally qualified registered nurses may seek registration within Australia after successfully completing this program.
The stream builds on your professional knowledge and experience as a registered nurse and enhances your capability as a member of an interprofessional team in a changing healthcare system.
You will study research, evidence-informed practice, and the biological and behavioural sciences that underlie nursing. You will be encouraged to problem-solve, identify and assess the needs of individuals and families.
The course can also help you establish a basis for future postgraduate study, specialisation, and research.
Successful completion of this course enables internationally and locally qualified nurses to seek registration in Australia.
Professional Recognition and Accreditation
Graduates of the Australian Registration Nurse stream can apply for registration to become a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia.
Admission Criteria
Current or Previous University Experience
Applicants with higher education are those whose highest level of study since leaving secondary education is a higher education course, such as a university degree.
English Requirements
