Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Midwifery Screening Diagnostics and Prescribing is a part-time, one-year online course designed for experienced midwives looking to advance their skills and qualify for endorsement. This course will help students develop their understanding of screening, diagnostic, and pharmacological procedures, and prepare them for endorsement as a midwife.


Admission Criteria

  • Applicants must be a current registered midwife with AHPRA registration.
  • Midwives from groups under-represented in the midwifery profession, especially those from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander or culturally, socially, and linguistically diverse backgrounds, are encouraged to enrol.

Fees and Scholarships

  • Australian and New Zealand student indicative fees: $2,900 (2025 Fee year)
