Pre-Masters Occupational Health and Safety Specialisation

Overview

The Pre-Masters Occupational Health and Safety Specialisation is designed for students in their third year of the Bachelor of Science (Health Science) (B-HLTHSC) who wish to undertake an Accelerated Bachelor Masters (ABM) program in the Master of Occupational Health and Safety (MC-OCHLSF). This specialisation is suitable for applicants who wish to develop fundamental skills towards an occupational health and safety qualification. It prepares students to develop advanced knowledge and skills for professional or highly skilled work and further learning corresponding to AQF level 8 qualifications.


Course Essentials

  • Qualification: Pre-Masters Occupational Health and Safety Specialisation
  • Credit: A full-time study load usually consists of 200 credits (approximately eight units) per year, with 100 credits (approximately four units) in each semester.
  • Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL): Use your experience to get credit towards your degree. Finish your course sooner with credit for your previous study or work experience.
