Program Overview

Admissions

To be accepted into this program, applicants must independently successfully complete both the Rowan University PhD program and CMSRU MD program admissions processes. Applicants to the program undergo the same screening, interview process, and admissions committee consideration as traditional applicants to CMSRU. The CMSRU admissions committee is solely responsible for acceptance of applicants into the MD component of the MD/PhD program.

• PhD Program: Applicants must independently successfully complete the Rowan University PhD program in Biomedical Engineering.
• MD Program: Applicants must independently successfully complete the CMSRU MD program.
• Admissions Process: Applicants must undergo the same screening, interview process, and admissions committee consideration as traditional applicants to CMSRU.

Program Outcomes

• Degree: Upon completion of the program, students will receive both an MD and a PhD degree.
