About Your Course
You’ll learn to assess, plan, and implement healthcare for children and young people, gaining in-depth knowledge of child development from infancy to adolescence. Develop problem-solving and critical decision-making skills, collaborate confidently in teams, and prepare for a rewarding nursing career.
- Year 1: Foundations of CYP Nursing Knowledge, Foundations of Expansive Learning for Professional Nursing Practice, Foundations of Scientific Principles for Child Nursing, Practice Learning 1 CYP
- Year 2: Developing nursing knowledge in CYP nursing, Developing Expansive Learning for Professional Nursing Practice, Developing Scientific Principles for CYP Nursing, Practice Learning 2 CYP Nursing
- Year 3: Consolidating Nursing Knowledge in CYP Nursing, Consolidating Scientific Principles for CYP Nursing, Consolidation of Expansive Learning for Professional Practice, Practice Learning 3 CYP Nursing
Entry Requirements
- UK Students: 112 UCAS points including GCSE grade C/4 in English and maths or equivalencies such as functional skills level 2
- International Students: 112 UCAS points
- Interviews: Interviews will be held virtually or at our Hendon campus.
