Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching
Overview
The Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching is an assessment-only module that enables experienced coaches at the Postgraduate Certificate level to become Hult Ashridge accredited executive coaches and upgrade their Postgraduate Certificate to a Postgraduate Diploma in Executive Coaching.
Program Details
- Duration: Half-day preparation workshop, one-day practicum, live coaching assessment
- Assessment: EMCC Senior Practitioner
- Accreditation: Ashridge Accreditation involves the assessment of skills, knowledge, understanding, and experience in executive coaching
- Code of Conduct: Adhere to the Executive Coaching Code of Conduct and maintain regular CPD and supervision
Submissions
- Submission A: Accreditation Self-Assessment, including:
- Coaching Practice Overview
- Coaching profile
- Record of coaching hours
- Record of own supervision sessions
- Submission B: Written Case Study (5,500 words + 10%) of coaching work with one recent coaching client
- Submission C: Recording and Transcript of recent coaching work with a different client, including:
- Digital recording of 20 minutes (+10%) of live coaching work
- Verbatim written transcript of the recording
- Written commentary on the recorded coaching
- Written feedback from the client
- Submission D: Live Practicum, including:
- Live coaching session of 20 minutes
- Assessment group made up of two members of the Accreditation Board and two to three colleagues

- Evidence of being a good listener
- Evidence of a basic understanding of normal business processes
- Evidence of being able to strike a balance between being self-reliant and knowing when to seek support
- Evidence of at least 90 hours coaching practice
- Evidence of attending regular coaching supervision
- Experience of work at senior levels in large, international client organisations
