Program Overview

Business (General Entry)

Overview

The Business (General Entry) program at TU Dublin offers a broad and varied range of courses within the field of Business. This program allows students to choose from four options: Business, Business with IT, International Business, and General Entry.

How it Works

On the CAO, the entry route is listed as TU772, with four options to choose from:

  • TU772 (BUS): Business (General Entry): Business
  • TU772 (BIT): Business (General Entry): Business with IT
  • TU772 (INB): Business (General Entry): International Business
  • TU772 (GEN): Business (General Entry): General Entry

Applicants who already know what area of business they would like to study can choose from Business, Business with IT, or International Business. Simply enter the relevant course code on the CAO application and select the preferred option.

Applicants who are unsure what area of Business is best for them should choose General Entry. Following acceptance of an offer, students will be invited to attend a detailed orientation which will outline each of the business courses. Students can then make an informed decision on which course to pursue.
