What is Business with Information Technology?
The program covers a wide range of subjects, including Accounting, Business Information Systems, Economics Fundamentals, Systems Analysis, Marketing, Databases, and Risk Analysis. Students will learn to design websites, problem-solve, create marketing campaigns, write computer courses, make investment decisions, and produce interactive multimedia presentations.
IT Requirements
Students are required to have a medium-spec computer/laptop that can run Windows 10, an AV solution, and Office comfortably. They must also be able to use Wi-Fi and a camera to attend online classes and use other software such as SPSS and Adobe Connect.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants who wish to apply for advanced entry to Year 2 must provide evidence that they have met the learning outcomes for Year 1 through previous study at Level 6, 7, 8, or equivalent. Those who hold a QQI FET Level 6 qualification or have other relevant educational and/or work experience equivalent to Year 1 of an undergraduate course may be considered for advanced entry.
