Engineering Software (TU808)

Overview

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Engineering Software is a four-year program designed to produce professional engineers who can design and optimize complex hardware, software, and communications systems.

Course Description

The first year of this course is a common year, and students study the same fundamental modules with elements of hardware, software, and electronic principles. In the following years, students have the opportunity to choose to specialize in their chosen discipline of Electronic Engineering or Engineering Software in greater depth.

This course is designed to produce professional engineers who can design and optimize complex hardware, software, and communications systems, and you will be at the forefront of developing the connected world. You’ll develop the skills you need to work in all aspects of the ICT industry, including software design, information technology, telecommunications, and computer network engineering.

Minimum Entry Requirements

To qualify for Advanced Entry, applicants must be currently studying, completing, or have successfully completed studies at Level 6, 7, or 8 in a Higher Education Institution (HEI) or an equivalent, in a related area. You must demonstrate by providing transcripts of results that you have achieved the learning outcomes for each stage you wish to advance past.
