What is... International Hospitality & Tourism Management?

This program is designed for students who seek an exciting career in the international hospitality and tourism industry. The program provides students with special knowledge and skills in tourism, sales and marketing, entrepreneurship, human resources, communication, and IT. Students will also acquire real-world experience through a six-month professional internship at home or abroad.


Study Abroad Opportunities

Students can complete a semester abroad under the Erasmus program.


Work Placement

In Year 3, students will undertake a placement in the hospitality and tourism sector, or complete an international work placement abroad.

Leaving Certificate Requirements

  • Minimum Number of Subjects: 6
  • Minimum Grade in Maths: F2/O6/H7
  • Minimum Grade in English OR Irish: O6/H7
  • Minimum Number of Higher Level Subjects: 2 H5's

QQI/FET Requirements

  • QQI/FET Award Required: Any full Level 5 or 6 award
  • Additional Requirements: 3 Distinctions

English Language Requirements
