What is the International Bridging Programme for Postgraduate Studies?

The International Bridging Programme is an ideal pathway for international students who have already met the academic requirements for direct entry and just need to further improve their English.


Minimum Entry Requirements

  • There are international bridging programmes for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD preparation.
  • The IELTS entry requirement is 0.5 of a band less than the direct entry requirement, which is overall 6.5 for most programmes.
  • Upon successful completion of the programme, students are guaranteed a place on their destination programme of choice, with no further IELTS required.

Course Content

  • Introduction to Higher Education/Research Skills

This course develops the following core skills:

Assessment

Students will be assessed regularly throughout the programme through continuous assessment and homework assignments. Final assessments will also be required for each module.
