What is Product Management?
Strategic product management is at the heart of the success of every company and can determine the company's success or failure. Product Managers with accredited and comprehensive knowledge of the product management domain are in high demand across leading Irish and International companies.
Program Objectives
The program is designed to equip working professionals with the skills and knowledge to effectively balance product management effort between discovery, design, and delivery. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of product management principles, practices, and tools.

The program is designed for:
- Practising product managers who have a number of years' experience and wish to enhance their competencies and their career progression.
- Product owners and those from engineering or design backgrounds who are transitioning to product management.
- Aspiring product managers who are working as business analysts or solutions consultants, or in product delivery and support functions.
- Senior executives in companies seeking to establish and develop a structured product management function.
- Business architects and those responsible for translating long-term strategic roadmaps into deliverables.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Participants must have a Level 8 Honours Degree in a cognate discipline with a minimum of a 2:2. Candidates with significant work experience but without the requisite qualifications may be considered under a Recognition of Prior Learning process.

Schedule
The Postgraduate Diploma is delivered part-time over 12 months. With an Induction in September, modules are run on two consecutive days per month, usually October through to June, concluding with a company-based capstone project, submitted in September, to bring real impact to their organisation.
Progression
Participants who successfully complete the one-year Postgraduate Diploma have the option to continue for a further part-time one-year program to attain an MSc in Product Management.
