Course Description
This short course offers essential practical skills in social media for both industry and non-profit organizations, enabling participants to quickly learn key digital marketing techniques and apply them directly in their workplaces. It is a condensed version of the BA in Digital Marketing offered at TU Dublin's Tallaght Campus, with the option to later complete the full BA degree by using the credits earned.
The course is designed to address the current skill demands of Dublin's tech sector and the global market, with close links to technology hubs and Digital Docklands. The curriculum combines core marketing and applied digital skills, covering social media, data analytics, IT, design, business, and international marketing. The course emphasizes practical, applied education and skills development, offering a work placement or a major industry project as part of the learning experience.

Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants under the age of 23 must have ordinary level Grade O6 or higher in five subjects. The subject list must include either English or Irish. Ordinary level Mathematics Grade O6 or higher is also a requirement to apply for year one of this course.
If applying as mature student (over 23 years) you may be exempted from this requirement and are eligible to apply. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.
