Overview
This course was developed after extensive consultation with the Pharmaceutical Industry and related sectors. The aim is to produce technically competent graduates who can work in production, quality assurance or validation roles. They will possess knowledge of regulatory affairs, documentation and processing technologies for oral dosage and aseptic finished pharmaceuticals as well as fine chemicals and biopharmaceuticals.

Entry Requirements
- If you are under 23 years old on 1 January, you must have achieved Grade D3 in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish or a FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent unless otherwise stated.
- A mature student must be over 23 years on 1st January of the year of application.
- All applicants must have competence in written and spoken English.
- Generally, it is expected that the applicants will be working in the Pharmaceutical Industry or related sectors.
