Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) Psychology & Counselling programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychology and counselling. The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and meets the requirements for graduate membership.
Course Structure
The course is divided into three years, with each year consisting of two semesters. The first year focuses on introducing students to the core areas of psychology, including biological, cognitive, developmental, and social psychology. The second year builds on this foundation, with modules on research methods, statistics, and counselling skills. The third year focuses on applied psychology, with modules on clinical psychology, developmental and educational psychology, and occupational psychology.
