The Diploma in Project Management offered by DBS is relevant to all industries and sectors, both SME's are large corporations. Course Content
The Online Diploma in Project Management examines the role of project management, the project life cycle, project initiation, planning, execution, control, and achievement of project objectives. Modules include:
Project Initiation
Defining the project in strategic terms, outlining its business value and seeking authorisation to proceed.
Project Planning
Developing a project plan capable of delivering project objectives, continuously refining requirements, creating a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), establishing project controls and seeking approval for the plan.
Project Execution
Progressing the development of the project plan and co-ordinating people, materials and processes to accomplish planned objectives.
Project Control
Ensuring that project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress regularly, using earned value to identify variances from plan, responding to risk triggers and taking corrective action as necessary.
Closing-out
The final stage includes the formalised acceptance of the project or phase, the documenting of lessons learned, record archiving, contract review and audit.

Fees
