The Pre-Medicine Professional Pathway program is designed to prepare students for success in medical school and future careers in medicine. The program emphasizes academic rigor, hands-on experience, and personal development to ensure that students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for admission into medical school and beyond.
Suggested Majors
- BS in Biochemistry
- As a student in our Biochemistry program, you will not only gain a strong foundation in science but also delve into subdisciplines like molecular biology, cell biology, and organismal biology.
- BS in Biology
- This program will let you delve deeply into subdisciplines like molecular biology, cell biology, organismal biology, and more.
- BS in Neuroscience
- This program combines biology and psychology to give you a holistic understanding of the brain and nervous system.
Suggested Minors
- Biomedical Sciences
- This minor will strengthen your understanding of the human body and sciences related to the medical field.
- Kinesiology
- This minor provides a foundational understanding of human movement and physical activity.
- Psychology
- This minor typically covers scientific writing, research methods, theories of personality, and psychopathology.
Admission Requirements

- No previous degree is required to enroll in this program.
- Transcript Required

- Two essays (prompts) OR Official SAT, ACT, or CLT scores
- Application Deadline
- Anderson University has a rolling admission process (students are notified when they are accepted whenever that is during the year) but students are encouraged to apply by the following dates: December 1st for the best scholarship consideration and no later than July 1st to begin in the fall semester.
