Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths Excluding Exams

Overview

Functional skills are essential for success in any form of future study, qualification, or work opportunity. Functional Skills courses, a recognised alternative to GCSE qualifications, provide you with the most convenient way to learn and develop practical skills in the essential subjects of math and English.

We developed this Functional Skills Level 2 Maths course to efficiently equip learners with the core subjects required for most jobs and higher-level learning opportunities. This popular package includes an examination of key concepts in English that you can explore at your own pace.

The Functional Skills Maths Level 2 online course includes everything you need to gain a C/4 grade at the GCSE level. However, this particular package takes it one step further, with the added bonus of an online exam that you can take from the comfort of your own home.

For our Functional Skills qualifications and certification, we work with TQUK.

TQUK is an awarding organisation recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) in England and CCEA Regulation in Northern Ireland. TQUK offers qualifications that are regulated by Ofqual and, in some cases, by CCEA Regulation and sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

Assessment

Our online quizzes will assess your progress throughout your Functional Skills Maths Level 2 course. If you achieve 80% or more on our quizzes, you’re ready to take your assignment. Passing all your assignments will prepare you for the mock exams.

Progression

Functional Skills courses were devised by the UK Government to help improve the literary, numeracy, and information and communication technology (ICT) skills of people in the UK. As a direct equivalent to GCSE grade C/4, completing Functional Skills Level 2 courses can help you meet job and university entry requirements that require a passing grade in these subjects.

All academic forms of study recognize English and math as core subjects, essential for comprehension. Not only that, but both numeracy and literary skills are required for the successful navigation of day-to-day life.

As a result, this Functional Skills English Level 2 course will assist you in developing the skills and knowledge necessary to overcome everyday challenges.

Universities widely use Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications to meet their entry requirements, but not all universities accept them. In this instance, you need to check if your Functional Skills Level 2 qualifications will be accepted before enrolling.
