St. Kate's MLIS program offers job-oriented certificates designed to give you the edge in today's skills-driven job market. Whether you hold an MLIS or a Bachelor's degree, we have a path for you.


For MLIS professionals who have earned an MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited program, you can pursue our Post-MLIS Certificate.

In our program, you will develop and advance your current skills, expand your knowledge in special areas, and gain valuable managerial experience to further your career.


Our Post-Bachelor Certificates provide skill-based training for BA/BS degree holders who want to advance their knowledge and skills in specialized areas, without pursuing a master's degree.

Interested in Continuing to Your MLIS Degree?

Our flexible program allows you to begin with your post-bachelor certificate and a head start on your MLIS degree. Take the remaining courses and graduate with a full MLIS degree.

  • Format: Online; synchronous and asynchronous
