Program Overview
Library and Information Science Certificates
Specialized certificates to advance in your career.
Enhance your employment opportunities and empower yourself with the skills and knowledge in focused specialization.
Advance in your career with confidence and expert knowledge.
St. Kate's MLIS program offers job-oriented certificates designed to give you the edge in today's skills-driven job market. Whether you hold an MLIS or a Bachelor's degree, we have a path for you.
For MLIS professionals who have earned an MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited program, you can pursue our Post-MLIS Certificate.
In our program, you will develop and advance your current skills, expand your knowledge in special areas, and gain valuable managerial experience to further your career.
Our Post-Bachelor Certificates provide skill-based training for BA/BS degree holders who want to advance their knowledge and skills in specialized areas, without pursuing a master's degree.
Our Post-MLIS Certificate program:
- Certificate of Special Study
Our Post-Bachelor Certificate options:
- Foundations of LIS Certificate
- Custom Certificate
Interested in Continuing to Your MLIS Degree?
Our flexible program allows you to begin with your post-bachelor certificate and a head start on your MLIS degree. Take the remaining courses and graduate with a full MLIS degree.
