BTEC HND in Business

The BTEC HND in Business is an internationally recognized higher education qualification equivalent to the first and second year of a university degree. This course is ideal for individuals with a professional goal of pursuing a career in a specific specialist field of business, as it enables them to equip themselves with the skills and knowledge required by the modern-day business environment.

Course Fees

• The course fees for Level 4 are 40,000 AED a year (subject to 5% VAT).
• The course fees for Level 5 are 40,000 AED a year (subject to 5% VAT).
• Meritorious scholarships and discounts are available.

Course Requirements

Applicants for this course must:

• Be aged 17 or over.
• Possess one of the following qualifications:
  • CBSE/ISC/NIOS/All-State boards of Grade 12, American, Filipino, or Thanaweya Amma.
  • A GCE Advanced level profile with achievement in 2 or more subjects supported by 5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above.
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 / International Diploma or Level 4 if progressing straight to Level 5.
  • Other equivalent international qualifications.
• Have relevant work experience.
• Provide proof of English Language ability.

Placement Assistance

The Pearson BTEC Level 5 is equivalent to the second year of a university degree, so students who complete this are able to then progress onto a range of degree top-up programmes at a variety of higher education providers, including top universities in the UK. The Woolwich Institute will help students with this progression.

Duration and Delivery

• Duration: 18-24 months.
• Delivery: Full-time.
