Why Choose IELTS Exam Preparation Course?

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an examination in academic English skills required by many universities, colleges and healthcare institutions. Additionally, applicants for UK citizenship and certain types of visa are required to prove that their English is at a certain level and IELTS is a recognised way of doing this.

Our Intensive IELTS preparation course helps you build exam strategies and language skills for taking IELTS and improves your familiarity with the exam format. It consists of 30 lessons a week:

• 20 of these lessons are the same as in the IELTS Preparation course and take place in the mornings. Most of this time is spent on Writing, Reading and Listening skills.
• 10 lessons of the 30 lessons per week are devoted to ‘Communication Skills’ where the focus is on general speaking, reading and listening skills and topic-based vocabulary.

IELTS EXAMINATIONS

ILC does not run IELTS examinations. Recommended test centres:

• Birmingham (MTS Birmingham) exam fee for 2025 is £245
• Bristol (International House) exam fee for 2025 is £220
• Cambridge (International House) exam fee for 2025 is £245
• Chelmsford (International House) exam fee for 2025 is £245
• Portsmouth (Pitman Training) exam fee for 2025 is £220
