English + Bagpipes or Drums UK
About this course
This course is perfect for students aged 10 to 17 who want to improve their English while learning the unique art of bagpiping. The sessions take place three afternoons a week, with 2-hour classes led by Gordon’s School Pipe Major. Students will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of bagpiping or drums in a fun and approachable way, starting with basic scales, simple melodies, and key music theory concepts to build a strong foundation and deepen their understanding of the instrument.
In addition to bagpiping, students can enjoy a wide range of exciting afternoon activities, including cultural excursions, visits to historic landmarks, sports tournaments, and creative sessions like dance, music, drama, and arts & crafts.
By blending language learning, music, and cultural immersion, this program offers students a unique opportunity to develop their English skills while creating lifelong memories in a nurturing and vibrant environment.
