MSc in Data Science for Sustainability
Overview
The Master of Science in Data Science for Sustainability is a new program at Modul University Vienna, beginning in Fall 2025. The program focuses on sustainability, making it one of the few in central Europe that prepares graduates to tackle ecological, economic, and societal challenges through data analysis.

Admission Requirements
When applying to Modul University Vienna for a Master program, you will need to meet the following admissions entry requirements and provide your documents in English through our application portal:
- Curriculum vitae (resume)
- Letter of motivation (1 A4 page)
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum of 3 years)
- Bachelor's Transcripts of Records
- Copy of passport
- Passport-sized photograph
- Two letters of recommendation (from academic sources)
- Proof of English proficiency level C1
