Public Relations Concentration
Overview
Learn how to write and pitch public relations communications. An understanding of marketing theory is emphasized in this concentration, in addition to reporting, editing, and design. You will develop strong speech skills and learn how to manage organizational conflict.

Public Relations Courses
A concentration consists of a minimum of four courses, of which at least 12 semester credits must be upper division. See the course catalog for more information regarding concentrations. Select at least four of the following courses:
- Advanced Intercollegiate Forensics
- Layout and Design
- Advanced Newspaper Production
- Advanced Reporting & Editing
- Managing Organizational Conflict
- Public Relations Writing
