On this pathway, you'll develop the skills you need to join City's leading School of Science and Technology. City has been leading in computing and engineering education for 60+ years, providing some of the UK’s first computer science degrees.

• Successful completion of the Pre-Master’s leads to a Graduate Diploma of Higher Education.
• Our 3-term course starts with a term of Academic English to prepare you for academic study in terms 2 and 3. Students with a higher level of English may be able to join our 2-term course directly.
  • Our 2-term Pre-master’s programs have two intakes every year, January and March, with an IELTS requirement of 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all subskills). The 3-term Pre-master’s option is IELTS 5.5 overall with a minimum 5.0 in all subskills.
