What is the duration of the programme?
The duration of the programme depends on your choice of degree:
- • For the Master’s programme (either UCAM or with the College de Paris accreditation), the duration is 1 academic year.
- • For the MBA in Tourism and Hospitality, the duration is1-1.5 academic years for the UCAM degree1.5 years or2 academic years if you choose the College de Paris degree. You can begin the programme in either the Fall or Spring semester.
What is the Master class schedule?
Our Master and MBA classes run on weekdays in the evenings from 6pm to 9pm. You will have classes 2-4 times per week, which allows you to work and study at the same time. Additionally, if you are a non-EU student who requires a student visa to study in Spain, our Master/MBA in Tourism and Hospitality programme meets the student visa requirements of full time study in Spain which also allows you to work for up to 30 hours per week.
What is ESEI’s attendance policy?
Students must attend at least 5 out of 7 sessions for each module. They cannot miss more than 2 classes for any reason. Absence will only be justified for observance of religious holidays. All Medical appointments, family commitments, etc. must fall within the allowed absence.
How are my module grades calculated?
Each module within our Tourism and Hospitality programme has 4 assessment components:
- • a group submission (40%),
- • an individual submission (20%) and a
- • formal oral presentation (20%) for your module project, as well as a
- • participation grade (20%) based on your participation during classes.
Are there any additional trips, visits or events included in the programme?
Absolutely! As part of your studies, you will have the opportunity to engage with guest speakers from your field, and some course projects will involve collaboration with real businesses, giving you practical, hands-on experience. In addition, ESEI hosts guest speaker sessions throughout the year, including those tailored specifically to the Tourism and Hospitality, providing valuable insights to enhance your learning. Beyond the classroom, you’ll have access to organised visits to local companies throughout the year, offering a unique perspective on Barcelona’s dynamic business environment. Past visits have included companies such as Oracle, Semrush, Schneider, Mediapro, and even Barcelona FC Stadium, to name just a few. Moreover, ESEI organises an annual trip to a selected destination, open to students from all programmes. Our most recent trip was to Madrid, where participants visited leading organisations such as Microsoft, UNWTO, and Salesforce. These experiences provide an excellent opportunity to network, gain industry insights, and explore the wider professional landscape.
Are internships included in the programme?
Yes, if you enrol in the College de Paris accreditation, you will have a mandatory 3-month internship to complete. However, if you choose the UCAM Degree accreditation, there is no mandatory internship requirement, but you are welcome to work in an internship while studying at ESEI. If you are interested in an internship in Tourism and Hospitality, Barcelona is an ideal city to explore opportunities. With many sectors to choose from, you can find an internship that perfectly matches your interests. ESEI regularly posts new internship offers on its digital platform, and we highly recommend attending the numerous networking events the city has to offer. Is the programme accredited?
Yes, our Tourism and Hospitality is fully accredited by both Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) and College de Paris. UCAM is recognised as one of Spain’s top universities, celebrated for its strong academic excellence and innovation. It has received numerous accolades, including its recognition as a leader in international collaboration and research. College de Paris, on the other hand, is a prestigious French institution known for its global perspective and commitment to delivering education that meets international professional standards. As part of the programme, you will have the option to choose between UCAM (Titulo Propio) and College de Paris (Titulo Oficial), allowing you to tailor your accreditation to suit your academic and career goals. Whether you seek a more research-driven or globally oriented qualification, both options are designed to equip you with the skills and recognition needed for success in the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
What kind of degree will I receive?
Upon successful completion of the programme, you will obtain two degrees: a private Masters degree from ESEI International Business School, and either a título propio universitario from Universidad Católica de Murcia (university qualification awarded directly by UCAM) or an official French degree from College de Paris.
How long does it take to receive my diploma(s) after completing the programme?
You'll be presented with your Tourism and Hospitality ESEI diploma at our graduation ceremony, which typically takes place in June/July. If you need proof of your degree completion for work or other reasons, we can provide a signed letter to use as proof until you receive your actual diploma. If you are eligible for the UCAM or College de Paris degree, it will arrive up to 12 months after completing the programme requirements.

What is the official certification I will receive upon completion of the programme?
UCAM Upon successful completion of the programme and fulfillment of the necessary credit requirements, students will receive the Master’s Degree in Continuing Education in Tourism & Hospitality Management or Master’s Degree in International MBA in Tourism & Hospitality Management certification, awarded directly by UCAM - Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia.
Collège de Paris MS & MBA International Programmes Upon successful completion of the programme and fulfillment of the necessary credit requirements, students will receive the Operational Activities Manager (Level 7) certification, awarded directly by Collège de Paris and accredited by France Compétences.
