International Year One in Accounting and Finance

Prepare for entry to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business and economics at the University of Exeter.

Key Information

• Pathway students will apply theory to analyze UK companies and current business practices, and present their findings.
• Participate in group work and learn how to use statistics to make sensible business decisions.
• Improve English language communication skills thanks to a collaboration with university students.
• Progress to a UK top 15 accounting and finance related-degree (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025).

Entry Requirements

• Age Requirement: 16
• All students must be 17 by the end of their academic year of study, no later than 31 August.
• Academic Requirements: Satisfactory completion of A-levels, or first year of overseas university degree with good grades or equivalent.
• English Language Requirements: IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in all subskills) or equivalent
• Class size: 20
