The BA in Humanities, Society, and Culture: Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) combines political theory, ethical reasoning, and economic analysis to prepare students for careers in government, policy, law, and business. Graduates earn a globally recognized degree accredited in both the US and EU in just three years.

About the Program
The Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) concentration offers a multidisciplinary approach to understanding society’s most pressing challenges. By integrating philosophy, political science, and economics, students develop critical thinking skills to analyze ethical issues, political systems, and economic policies.
Program Structure
The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, Society and Culture is a 3-year study program, following a modular structure. To graduate, students must accumulate 90 US credits (180 ECTS credits) by completing 30 courses.

Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the B.A. in Humanities, Society and Culture: Politics, Philosophy and Economics can expect to:
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of ideas & issues across the fields of art, literature, film, philosophy, religion, history, politics & sociology, anthropology, and psychology; demonstrate a broad knowledge of the theories, methods, and concepts in these areas.
- Use appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methods, concepts and theories
- Address and solve moderately complex theoretical and practical issues and problems in changing contexts
- Effectively communicate issues, problems, or dilemmas and their solutions

Qualification Awarded
The degree awarded is concurrently recognized as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in the United States, as per AAU’s accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, and as a Bakalář (Bc.) in the Czech Republic, as per AAU’s accreditation by the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education (NABHE). Graduates may select whether to use the U.S. post-nominal or the Czech pre-nominal title.
