ELICOS - Academic English Program (AEP)

Course Overview

The Academic English Program at Edith Cowan College is designed for students who plan to study a degree at Edith Cowan University. Students can improve their academic reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills during this program.

Course Benefits

  • Taught in 10-week terms, with possible start dates every five weeks
  • Focuses on a mixture of communication skills and academic study skills
  • With a minimum of 65%, you will be able to graduate to the next AEP level or to your designated course
  • No further English testing is required (except for Nursing and other higher English course requirements)
  • Leads into Diploma, Foundation, and PQP programs at ECC and various degree programs at ECU
