Program Overview & Highlights
Acting
The Acting program at the University of Windsor is a four-year Honours program that offers a unique blend of conservatory-style classes, performance, and academic coursework. This internationally recognized program is designed to help students develop their talent and prepare for a successful career in the performing arts.
About the Audition
Candidates are asked to memorize and prepare two monologues, each approximately one minute in length. One monologue should be by a character from a play by Shakespeare, while the other should be by a character from a published modern or contemporary play. In addition to the monologues, candidates will also learn and present a movement sequence, participate in an improvised scene, and engage in a cold reading.
