Introduction to the BSc Honours Psychology with Counselling Skills Programme
The BSc Honours Psychology with Counselling Skills programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychology and counselling skills. Programme Content

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for the programme vary depending on the student's previous education. The requirements include:
- Indian Secondary School Certificates: minimum grade of 70% overall
- British A-Levels: minimum two or three with grades AA / BBB
- GCSE: students who have completed their GCSEs are eligible to join the International Foundation Programme
- International Baccalaureate: minimum 24-28 points
- American High School Diploma: minimum GPA of 2.8
- UAE's General Secondary Education Certificate Examination: students who have completed the Tawjihiyya will be eligible to apply for the International Foundation Programme
English Language Requirements
The English language requirements for the programme include:
- IELTS Academic: 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each band)
- TOEFL Internet-based: 72 (17 in listening & writing, 20 in speaking and 18 in reading)
- Pearson PTE Academic: 59 (with 59 in all components)
- Dubai Campus MDX Internal English Test: 6.0 (with 5.5 in each component)
Teaching and Learning
The programme uses a range of teaching and learning approaches, including lectures, seminars, and group work. Students will be involved in a range of learning activities, including working and learning as part of small groups. The programme also uses existing and emerging technologies to support student learning.
